1970 C10 driver window stuck

I was rolling down the window when the handle stopped and now won't roll either way. I tried removing the panel but cant get the pins off for the door handle and window. Once that is done, should it just be an easy fix? thoughts?

Re: 1970 C10 driver window stuck

There was a thread just the other day on how to remove the handle clips. Use a rag to get behind the handle, use the cheap stamp steel tool or my personal favorite, a hook tool. Once you pull the clips off and remove the handle pop the clips back into the grooves so you don't lose them and simply slide the assembly back on when it all goes together.
As far as the binding look for anything conspicuous. If its just a frozen regulator douse it in PB Blaster or your favorite penetrant. Work it in by moving the window up and down and finish off with a heavier grease like syl glyde or a white grease spray.

Sounds like mine! If you can grab the window pull or push it while turning the handle. Loose or worn track will do this.
