I ran a whole second slower than I was expecting so I have some work to do. I couldn't get any tire spin to save my life and I think that hurt me. Ran 10.8 pretty consistently all night. Had a couple of fluke freak runs. Here's the best.

RT - .296 (once i settled down i was consistently .170)
60' - 2.51
330' - 7.03
ET @ 594 - 10.00
1/8 ET - 10.66
1/8 mph - 67.57

Obviously my 60' times killed me. Felt like it took forever to get into the powerband without tirespin. Here are my engine specs.

Stock 350 bottom end
Comp Cams 268 High Energy K-Kit
Heavy Chevy 185 heads
Edelbrock Performer Intake
Stock Q-Jet
MSD Streetfire HEI (conservative advance weights and springs)
Stock Rams Horn manifolds to true dual 2.25 exhaust with stockish turbo style mufflers.

Even though I ran at the back of the pack I still had a great time. And I'm pretty sure my truck was the oldest vehicle out there. ::
A milliom years ago(seems like it) I had a very simular set up in mine. It ran 14.70 @ 90 MPH. Seems lit it was 9.50 in the 1/8,,,,now it runs 5.89 in the 1/8 amd very bottom 9's in the 1/4

Next time out I'm going to spray it for the first time. My chassis is only good to 8.50. I'll spray what it needs to go below 8.50 once.

Yeah I think there's still some power that I haven't untapped yet. Especially in my mechanical advance. Moving this weekend but hoping to do some tweaking and hit the strip again in two weeks.
