how rare is a 76 gmc high sierra with a 454 1/2 ton

Supposed to only have 71k miles, 454 th400, fenders have been replaced, the rockers are going, beds pretty fair. Interior is really clean. Too bad its not a 77, could have had power windows!

oh ya, dad already bought it. Just wondering how many gmcs had 454s as opposed to chevys in the half tons.

Can’t answer your question on how many GMC’s with big blocks but I’m guessing somebody on here knows. Looks like a pretty straight pickup, cruise is a nice feature. Good thing you saved a picture with the fuel gauge above full, it won’t stay there long!

its stayed there pretty well, I bet its broken! Dad rebuild the carb, new vac advance, and put new plugs in it, the gaps were set mostly at 20, one was set at 25 and one was set just under 15! So they are corrected, still has an ever so slight miss. Gonna swap plug wires tomorrow and see if that fixes it. Im hoping it doesnt have a flat cam.
