looking for 67 gmc 3/4 ton hubcaps
I am new to this forum.
And am becoming more and more impressed by the amount of information here. I just purchased a 67 gmc 3/4 ton in unbelievably good shape. I am going to start a thread on the work I will be doing on it soon. But for now, I have been doing alot of research on wheels and hub caps etc... right now it has old ford van hubcaps Id is 11.75 and the fit on the 4 humps on the rim. It is an 8 lug rim. And has the heavy duty rear end so the hub caps are deeper to accomodate. I would really like to repaint the stock rims and use baby moon hubcaps, and trim. Along with 3" wide white wall tires since it needs tires anyway with dryrot and all. Please know, I went through tons of threads to find this answer, and well. I saw alot of info, but no answers. I really could use some feedback on this. |

Re: looking for 67 gmc 3/4 ton hubcaps
I have been doing alot of looking and found
http://www.autoamenity.com/ carries Baby Moons to replace 12" Dog Dish Hub caps. I found them NO WHERE else. So this should work for the front. They are also 2.5" deep. Very close to what is needed for the floating hubs in the rear wheels. I am sure it might be too close to call. But if I need to drill and tap to mount the moons I can do this. I will post again if or when I get them mounted. |
