It is just much faster and easier to replace the panels, no skill involved...as for the cowl, that will require a skilled welder, not to difficult of a task, but a skill non the less
As far as the bed goes, it would be easier to replace it all at once, rather then try and patch it, hardly any welding involved...jmho
