Something new???

Ok ay so i rigged up this air claner to exit driver side and I use a snorkel from a transam I think. Its not fully finished yet but it looks pretty stock to me!!!!
Im gonna see how I like it. It seems to work fine, even witha few little gaps where I riveted the nozel to the air clear (I made one outta two )

Truck runs great I think the cam is going bad but I havent had time to take it in to have the carb adjusted so maybe my Q-jet is just choking up on me.

After the intake swap I have no more massive amounts of burning oil!!! Just on start up sometimes, and never noticable when im driving.

Lots of fun!!! and lots of stares, my truck is a sub-par restore....but it is straight and usually clean. Thanks for all your help guys!!!

Man, the 84-85 dual snorkel unit would be cool too. Those are kinda pricey though but I would like to throw that on my chevelle and mount the air scoops as above.

Re: Something new???

That is a great set-up! Only it's an entrance, not an exit. That had me scratchin' my head until I saw the picture, cuz the air "exits" into the motor and out the exhaust

It sounds like you may have bad valve stem seals or guides.
