Here's mine got it 2 weeks ago when I joined this site. It runs but doesn't stop so lots of work to do. By the way I prefer fleet sides so may be looking for a trade!

Re: Show off your short stepsides! Pics please...

Got this '71 about 6mos. ago & have been piddlin' with it ever since. Cheap orig. color paint job but they didn't paint inside the doors or door sills, clean original metal. Looks like it was Ziebart treated when it was new. Has a 700r, vintage air, ps, pb.
Posted the '67 "shop ornament" earlier in this thread, still havent found motivation to work on it.

Re: Show off your short stepsides! Pics please...

Before and after the 2/4 drop. First pic is stock suspension and 275/60/15 tires mounted on 15x10

[IMG][/IMG]

Lowered 2" in front with drop coils, 4" in the rear using 3" drop coils and 1" blocks.
Tires are 295/50/15 on 15x10 with "standard offset" which I think is around 4" back space

Re: Show off your short stepsides! Pics please...

Heres a 71 GMC my dad and I redid, body off frame a few years ago. 250 6 cyl, 3 ott, manual brakes and steering, radio delete, coil speing rear. We sold it to a clueless twit who thought he could flip it for big bucks. He ended up sinking even more money into it (radio, rally wheels, ill fitting universal radio and non stock gauges) then selling it to a board member for what he paid for it!

Here's my '72. Third owner...was a straight-six, 3spd on the column manual, zero option truck. Still wears the original Rocky Mountain patina-fied paint, but now has a 4.5/6 static drop, all new mechanical bits, and rolls around on Boss 20's.
