Jack Decal Project For My Green '67
I have been working on this for weeks in Photoshop and finally printed out a nice enough one to put in the truck. I was lucky that one of my trucks had the decal in the glove box and it was in decent shape to start with. It still had problems with small pieces missing, creases, and missing printed areas. I re-constructed it piece by piece in Photoshop until I had a complete decal. After I printed the first one out I discovered I still had a couple of problem areas so back to the drawing board... The final one looked really good so I mounted it on a double sided adhesive sheet and put it in the truck. I think the '68 trucks used the same decal, I know the ones with Buddy Buckets did anyway. The first pic is what the original looked like, the second is the re-constructed one, and third, installed in the truck. I didn't keep track of the hours in doing this but it was a lot...

Hi Nate, If I can get the adhesive backing figured out and the best way to ship them I will probably put a few on the parts board. If you want to PM me so I can remember to send you a message, I will put you on a first chance list when I get to that point. Thanks. LockDoc

Nice job. $3.95 from LMC part number 38-0190. The one from LMC looks like there may be a little more to it. Perhaps rear jack placement.

Not quite. That is the '69-72 style. '67-'68 are different and are not reproduced. LockDoc

Its amazing what technology has done for us just in the last 15-20 years! Something as simple as you being able to sit at home and make a resto sticker amazes me. Great job!

Re: Jack Decal Project For My Green '67
the hot ticket would be to have them digitally printed on vinyl with a overlaminate, they would last many many years that way, probably not too expensive if he already has the PSD artwork done.

Thanks guys. I actually enjoyed doing it. My wife would walk into the office and say: "Are you STILL working on that???" and I would say "yep".. I may check on the vinyl. I have a couple of shops close to me. LockDoc

I wanted to update this thread with a picture of where the jack instruction decal is on my unmolested '68 CST with buddy buckets. This is on the seat riser on the passengers side. It also has no bowties LockDoc
