OK 69 stepside bed; short (lots of pics)

this bed is king of originals, or atleast close......minus the wood floor.
original bed on a truck with 75,000 orig. miles. no bondo, dints, or dings (none on the outside panels, there are just a few small ones on the inner panels). black primered, only minimal surface rust underneath.
comes with tailgate (straight), bumper, new taillights, and sidemarkers.
wood floor needs replaced.
on the photos of the steps, that is dirt not rust.

sorry, this is local pick up. HOWEVER, if someone wants to trade me for a fleetside bed, then i can work out a traveling deal. i'm pretty sure i can get my friend with a flatbed trailer to take a road trip.

lower price $700.........i understand people want sandblasted or original paint panels, but i can assure this bed is in great shape. not filled with bondo. plus i wouldn't take a chance of damaging my name on this board by being dishonest.

Hello Im new to the site, and u have exactly what i was looking for. Is there anyway u would ship or deliver the bed to 42223 for $1500 cash upon arrival?
Im currently deployed to Afghanistan but if u are able to get the bed to Fort Campbell,KY my wife n a friend of ours could meet u off post with a truck n my wife would give u the cash then. Or if u have any ideas how we could do the transaction that would b helpful. Thnx

Thank you for your honesty. I really wish i was the first to be interested. I just got the 72 stepside my Uncle had when i was a kid, I always loved this truck. My uncle had a stroke a few years back while he was in the middle of restoring it, my cousin took over on it and stored it at my aunts, my aunt had to move and couldnt take the truck. My cousin asked on facebook if any1 wanted to buy a 72 stepside. I asked if it was the same truck i thought it was n he said yes. I told him i would take it off his hands but since im in Afghanistan i couldnt get him any cash till i make it back home. He said that the next step would b to junk it. but since family is interested then he would just give me the truck, rather than sell it to a friend or stranger, at least it stays in the family like it has for at least 20 yrs.

i just got my 69 about 3 months. i'll start my build from the frame up in about 6 months from now. i still drive it randomly, so i'm just buying parts here and there until then so it won't be taken apart as long. it's to fun to drive for it to be taken apart for more than a year. plus everyone gives compliments or talks about it when they see an older vehicle out. it's great.

SOLD to Meek1971. he is a stand up guy. he drove to austin, TX and picked up a short fleet bed and came to oklahoma city and traded it for my step side. thanks, and it was nice doing business with you.
