OE wheel examples from 47-59

I am thinking of trying to find some OE wheels for my 59 to run until I have the funds to hack up my frame. I see sets of wheels for sale all the time, but I am wondering how much they changed through the years? Is there a resource I can go to (I already tried search) so I can see how they changed? I am assuming (usually a mistake) that any wheels during those years are interchangeable and would work on my '59. Am I wrong?

I believe the Wheels on my 53 are original. I'll snap a picture of them tonight and post it up if somebody else hasn't already.

I don't know if you can make it out from the picture I have, but these are the orignal wheels for my 51 3/4 ton.

Thanks Bret, I was looking more for the 6 lug variety but I can see the style. There was a year range with an extra "hump" to the smooth part of the wheel, and then others that were just smooth. Not sure if say 57 hubcaps fit on the 54 wheels?

The wheels I just took off of my 59 are smooth, 15X6. I "think" they are the stockers.
Small center mount hub caps. Not the best pic but maybe it will help.

I like the wheels on the pic in your avatar
