Lokar shifters

Anyone ever purchased one of their automatic shifters for the floor? There are two different types I saw on the Lokar site that I am interested in. One is the one that has the exclusive lockout feature for shifting between park reverse neutral, overdrive, three two one, etc. This will be for a 4L60. It has shaft lengths of 6 to 23 inches. And the other is the one that can actually be mounted above or below the floor on the transmission tunnel. It has lockout feature for park and neutral only. It has shaft lengths of 12 or 16 inches. I was thinking the 12 inch would probably be the right one for a truck. They also have LED boots for either vertical to the left of the shifter or horizontal at the base of the shifter. Any comments? Thanks in advance Wootdog

I've used Lokar shifters in all my street rods. Cheapest place to buy them is usually Speedway Motors. Lokar rocks.

I own four of them, I run the 23" swan neck in my 68 and it looks like an old 4 speed stick, comes right up to the dash.

It has a lot of adjustment on the cradle itself you can locate in different positions, and the entire shifter pivots back and forward slightly if you run into any other concerns for adjustment.

I cut a new hole thru my high hump 4spd hole then patched the old hole. I put the shifter where i liked it then mounted the cover.

Here is the one in my 54 Chevy. I think it's called the "Nostalgia".
