TH350C Lockup Connector

Hey I have an 85 Chevy C10, 2wd, 305 with a th350c trans

Theirs a 4 pin electrical connector that plugs into the side/top of the trans that controls lockup, factory its controlled by vacuum... all I need to know is what pins need to get power and ground to control the lockup for extended highway driving...

Any help would be awesome

I know the green wire goes to the vacuum switch, at least on mine it does. The black wire should be ground, so that leaves one of the others to the brake switch. That's the best I can do for now.

I would imagine the pink wire is your power. Seems to be a common theme on these trucks to use pink for power.

Alright so if I send power to the pink wire, and ground my black wire, lock up should kick on right?

Only one way to find out. I don't see that you could hurt anything if it's wrong, it just won't lock up. I'm thinking that will do it, but you will have to be able to turn it off (unlock). What happened to the factory setup?

Re: TH350C Lockup Connector

Alright Ill give it a go haha... well factory was run off of vacuum switches and what not, and in the midst of cleaning the engine bay they removed, but thats alright I can put it on a lighted toggle switch, and only use it for extended highway.

The black is ground. The green should be power that originally went to the vacuum switch. The other wires would have gone to the relay or pressure switch and the brake switch.
