Rear springs for ad
Is anybody using stock rear springs on their AD with late model rear end? Will they hold up with some extra power?

You have to remember that I am dumb--so what does AD stand for? I see it a lot in post.

Re: Rear springs for ad
I ran them for a long time when I had the 283 in the 48 with a 4 speed Muncie M21 with no problems. If you don't use lowering blocks it will raise the back end of the truck about an inch and a half and maybe more. That wasn't an issue then for me but it might be for a lot of guys.
It rode ok and I even towed a 16 ft U haul trailer from Texas to Washington with it but that was overdoing it a bit. |
