ANytime you can find NOS parts it is a good thing. I would love to have an NOS SWB set of trim, I don't know if you can mix NOS with repop stuff to make a set. The Glove box trim is a repop, they were not chrome from GM.

Re: Is this a good find............

gm has been know to produce stuff for years after the initial production, they did not discontinue the 69 chevy truck upper trim until about 1999 and that only due to the mold breakage of the lf front fender trim, after that seth at golden state was able to buy the dies from gm and continue reproducing them , I think he re made the lf front fender die.

in 1999 we were still buying 60-66, and 67-72 door sill plates from gm in the wrappers.
so yes the www shows that it is modern production, but it is still GM, however one thing to look out for, is that the dies should be considerably worn after 40+ years of production.....so fit might not be perfect...

The bedside trim looks legit to me. Don't know when GM stopped producing them.

The glove box emblem is a repop IMHO. They just had a GM license to sell it with GM. Ronnie, I know you said on the phone that you don't care if the emblem is a repop or not. .02.

Re: Is this a good find............

I can answer this one. The moldings in white shrink wrap are genuine GM. The glove box emblem is a reproduction.

Re: Is this a good find............

I have a mix of this stuff on my 64, some was in old GM packages from the '70s, some was the newer GM packs from the 90's-it all looks fine & fit good.
