Exclamation the plan...revisited

Lets see....4th time is a charm?
longhornJeff69 should be motering by here pickin me up and scooting on over to PA...*crossing my fingers*
Lots of pics will be taken, lots of gas will be burned, and lots of dew will be consumed... I'll need at least a 1/2 liter an hr...I might get a small bag of chips too.
Again, thanks everyone...esp blue...the creater of the whole idea, and OldChev for putting up with the failed plans, and last, but not least, all the kind folks who helped (or wanted to help) make this happen.
More to follow.

Are you going to drive the beast back, or tow it? And i have to ask, what are your plans for the truck! Good luck with your Christmas Gift from the board .

It's going on a U-haul trailer. I thas sat for way too long, and OLDCHEV talked me out of driving it...basicly, he scared me. The original plan was to drive the GMC out there, and use my towbar to drag the GMC with the Longhorn on the way back.
Plans?
SHORT TERM
Well, it will be a daily driver (no pizza delivery though...if you don't get that joke go to http://www.longhorntrucks.freeservers.com/photo4.html ) I know it will get my 350/350 out of the GMC, along with quite a few other parts, and if the front fenders on it are kinda hashed, it'll get the '69 GMC front clip. (I love that grill)
LONG TERM
I have a cab needing a little work, I'll get the work done on it, then swap cabs. There is a bed (my old one) in Tx that I need to go and do the same thing with. I also have a 400 small block that needs built, but I'd rather find a Caddy 500.
I dunno bout what color combo I want to go with, but that is so far away, I'm trying not to dream that far ahead.

Well, it is 6 in the a.m. and we're headed out the door. Stop at the U-Haul place, get a wagon and headed east....426 miles.
