question 56 Big Window Conversion

Ok I have read the post s and I think my skill level would allow me to do a conversion on the new 56 I just brought home. My question is for those that tackled this, what lessons did you learn? If I can learn from your mistakes I may not repeat them.
Looking back do you guys think the result was worth the effort?
Who sells the sheet metal for this?

What type of time did you spend on the conversion?

Thanks guys/gals for this great site.

Re: question 56 Big Window Conversion

It looks to me like the easiest way to do it would be to buy the whole rear cab panel and the interior part that goes with it. They are available from most of the places that sell parts for these trucks. You can find the panels for less than $1K if you shop around. It's a little bit pricey but it also gives you new lower rear cab corners that most trucks need anyway.
