Re: ls turbo build
everything looks great....but that pan seems a little deep. Mine is too deep and I don't think it hangs down as far as yours. are you sure you have room for it?

Re: ls turbo build
I have the deep pan like you have, and it is almost the lowest point on my truck. My exhaust is about 1/2" lower. And with as much static drop as I have...I should be worried, but strangely I'm not. Time will tell.

Re: ls turbo build
Just received my freakshow converter, hughes flywheel with spacer and bolts, energy suspension motor mounts and trans mount. I should have it all bolted up together this weekend and stabbed in the truck.. I'll also have the driveshaft and lokar shifter installed and the hydraboost brakes done.... Then i'm ordering the holley dominator efi complete system, and the edelbrock proflo intake and injectors, rails etc.etc..... I'm getting excited Going to try to get this done before our new baby gets here in may....

Re: ls turbo build
Jegs sent the wrong flexplate.... I have to use the crank spacer (555-601010) and a FLAT tci flexplate (399753). They told me that the hughes flexplate (512-hp4004x) will work... But it's dished and won't allow the converter to pull up enough to bolt up to the flexplate... So if you install the spacer first then the TCI flexplate it will work....

Great progress thus far brother. Got the motor in but ran into a snag with the turbo fitment. As usual I will be keeping a close eye on yours.

Will do. My goal is 500 to the wheels. Really don't want to blow this 6.0 up...they are becoming harder to find...and pricier to boot.

69trk- Do you post on MWSC as well? That pic of your truck in the avatar looks familiar. I had no idea you had all this turbo/ls swap going on! Nice work so far.
