'70 SWB 2WD suspension question

I have a 1970 gmc short step 2wd, im going to lower the rear of the truck 1.5 inches and the front two inches, but i dont want to order the springs from LMC, i want to order aftermarket suspension systems for performance suspension. does anyone know the stock dementions of the springs so i can figure the dementions of the new springs and shocks? please help. it would be greately appreciated.

Re: '70 SWB 2WD suspension question

Not sure I underdstand your query. But the aftermarket options for suspensions for these trucks is endless. I wouldn't buy springs from LMC either.

I'd look to ECE or some of the other performace suspension makers. Some are even site sponsors/vendors.

You can use your stock shocks with your 2" drop.
