What Color Is My Interior?

So I've been planning my ultimate build. Although I want it to be completely custom I want it to be the original colors it came in (or as close as possible). The SPID say it was "4614AB BLUE VINYL TRIM" I haven't been able to find any info on it. My thought was that I need to match the carpet, seat belts and an available paint that closely matches each other then match any custom stuff to go with it. The seat upholstery looks OG. It looks dark blue and I will investigate an unfaded part of the material but can anyone tell me if this is "Dark Blue" or Medium? Does anyone have any info or color swatches? I have found an M14 blue color and had a short lead on 614 blue but they dead ended. Anyone have any input?

I'm surprised you have not gotten any response. Maybe a pic of the color you are trying to match would help.

Re: What Color Is My Interior?

The only reason why I haven't posted a pic is beacause my interior has been poorly redone and the seat is all but gone. I was hoping for historical fact and not information based off the current interior colors. Anyhoo, here is a hi res pic of the interior.

Re: What Color Is My Interior?

I don't hve any interior color codes.I will say that if you want the colors to match, you may want to go with a full custom job on all the soft parts.Even new the factory upholstry did not match that well. When you get to aftermarket it's about the same, since several companies make stuff and you will run into different dye lots and minor differences in how the material accepts color.

Thank you. I figured with the lack of response I should buy the carpet, seat belts and so forth of my choice to come up with an attractive package that would go with my interior. I am planning a Restomod of sorts but I wanted to hit the Resto part as close as I could!

Re: What Color Is My Interior?

Sorry I don't know...maybe someone with the original factory info will help but I agree that covering all or painting to match will be your best bet for a nice matching look. If you get parts from one place now they still might be two or three different shades from what I've seen...

Re: What Color Is My Interior?

Yeah, Johnathan. We had that conversation in your garage and I remember you saying to find the staple colors that I cant change (fabrics) and color match the rest to well...match. Looks like the route I've gotta go. The suppliers aren't specific so I can only be as specific as they are.
