you can contact GM Vintage Vehicle Services. http://www.vintagevehicleservices.com/
it costs about $75 last time I checked but they provide you with full documentation on your truck if it's available.
From the GM-VVS site: This information is available for Canadian produced or U.S. produced and sold in Canada cars and trucks from 1945 to current, and for U.S. produced and sold cars and trucks from 1977 to current.


The bad news: if it's a US built vehicle there is likely no documentation available for it as US plants didn't keep the records for much pre 66 and didn't start keeping full records until 77

The good news: if it was built in Canada for sale in the US the records were likely kept although individual options for each vehicle were not recorded.
