well, he did it

after 2 years of owning the 66 LWB. my son just traded it off for a 68 Camaro SS. the SS is gonna be a huge project but is a true SS. it has orig 4spd and 12 bolt. it's missing the 396/325hp. can't believe he did it and he did ask since we have gone halves on everything for the 66. kinda bummed since we have put so much thought into the 66 build but the camaro will be fun also. now i hafta get rid of all the parts i had acquired to upgrade the truck since my buddy who he traded didn't want em

there is s10 rear under it to roll around. so, we stopped by and got the orig 12bolt, a pair of ported 781's i bought and the closed chamber heads off the mid 60's 396 he traded his two nitro r/c cars for

Good for you guys! My kid brother had the sense to buy a '64 ragtop Goat when he was 12 with paper route money. Through the years I have had my best cars come and go for various reasons while he kept that damn Pontiac. Now we are in our 40's and Im wishing I still had half of the ones that I got rid of while he is going through that Goat one more time. I hope you and your son keep it around. It sounds like a great father son project!
