Well I decided to take everyone's advise and remove the running boards off of the green 72 Custom Deluxe / 20 for sale at my shop. I told the owner what you guys said so he said it would be OK to remove them. It realy isn't anything special, but sure is a nice original paint truck. What do you think? WES

Looks good! I think I like it better without the running boards. That truck looks almost exactly like mine, just 2 years newer and much less rust.

What I think is it would be great to be able to just swing by your shop from time to time. That truck is really nice and,yes,always better w/o running boards. It wouldn't take much to get that truck 100% right,with hubcaps and mirror heads. I'd love to buy one like that. I really dig those square exhaust ports out the bumper. Nice custom touch!

Whatever happened to the camper off that truck?

You are welcome to drop by any time you like. It's not much of a drive for you.

The owner of the truck changed the mirror heads and I would like to change them back to original, however he drilled holes in the upper arms to mount the 1/2" aluminum plate that he mounted the heads on. So I need a pair of upper suports too. The square ports are not exaust ports.

They are for some kind of mounts for a camper. This truck still has the original style single exaust (2") I don't know what happened to the camper. I should ask the owner. I suspect it is long gone though. WES
