Re: 1951 chevy pickup Dually Flat Bed
Is the flatbed for show or to actually use to haul heavy stuff like a car, atv, etc. They are not that hard to build, just start looking at ones in your area. If you do not want to tackle it (would be a great first project to get welding skills) ask around and find a metal fab shop that caters to farmers, etc. Or if you want to spend lots of money go to a commercial truck place that sells them. Once you get that price you will probably end up back at build it myself. The factory assembly manual shows the stock factory ones too and how they attach.

I am actually going to school to learn to weld but havent had any actually classes. i dont know how to properly adjust the dials to get the bead i wont. lol So i am open to building my own but i dont have the skills yet. I just purchased a Manual for it today so i will diffinately check it out.

Re: 1951 chevy pickup Dually Flat Bed
well i finally got some pitures added. Now my Question is how to adjust the doors to get them to close. They dont close all the way and they rattle when i take it for a drive. Do i need to adjust the hinges or the door latches?
