Wipers

It is raining and I put on my wiper and they work good for a bit and then they start skipping jumping and when I put them on pulse they pulse for a bit and then go into regular on mode for as bit and then back to pulse, what gives here? thanks inadvance for any help.
Truck is 2003 GMC 3500, 4x4 6.0 V/8, auto trans

sounds liek the pulse relay for the motor is going out? or the switch or even the motor

UPDATE
Replaced the Pulse Board yesterday and now I am waiting for rain which is a day away and I can see if it was the pulse board or not.

Hey man let me know if that fixes your issue. I started having issues with mine i.e. Once I turn them on they stay on at full bore! Someone told me it may be the wiper pulse controler. Where was it located?

replacing the board seem to have solved my wipers running erratic but mine weren't running at full bore just skipping or jumping across the glass. The board is located under the wiper cowl, you have to remove the wipers and black plastic panel to get at it. goof luck
