New Guy from Plant City Florida

Hello everyone, my name is Jason, I am 34 years old and I recently bought a 1974 chevy C-10 shortbed truck. I am very excited about it and I intend to make it into a hot rod someday, It will be my first one. I am sure I will be picking the brains of all the experienced chevy people on here and I look forward to it! Thanks for having me!

Welcome Aboard Neighbor !

Tampa/Seffner is my old stomp'n grounds and spent some time in Dover/Plant City as well.

Looks like a pretty clean rig for it's age, What kind of plans do you have for it ?

Re: New Guy from Plant City Florida

Hey Rob, thanks for the welcome!

I am not sure what I am going to do, as we all know time and money will dictate progress lol. Since it is curently my daily driver, I intend to just work on getting the engine running better, and then starting body work to stop the rust. Ultimately I want to do a complete restore from the frame up and make it a hot rod. This will be my first attempt at something like this, so I expect to be on here a lot looking for answers and suggestions LoL

Nice truck by the way, I especially like to hood mod, way cool
