Re: 1984 K-1500 project truck
congrats on the new project. not sure which way you are goin with the build, but a good tune up and change of all fluids should be first. make sure all the little things work. wipers, turn signals, hvac system.check the belt, hoses and brakes/steering.replace any faulty or worn parts. once the vehicle is solid mechanically, then you can turn your attention to lifts/tires/audio or whatever you desire. trust me,its much easier to enjoy your truck if you aren't scared it'll leave you stranded!

Re: 1984 K-1500 project truck
haha thanks, and yeah i got the truck off of my boss for $500 and its all there besides the little things, I had to put a new fuel filter, thermostat and i had to drill out all of the old spark plugs becasue they broke off inside and i out all new plugs new belt, i need to get headers and 2 cab cornors and 1 rocker, but i mean its still in good shape for the money, I have gotten it to fire im just gonna wait till i get the headers on. im looking to do something different to it but i just cant think of what to do.

Wow, i like the step bars on there, I haven't seen any like that before. Looks like you've got a bit of a lift, and 33" tires? Maybe 35"? Seems like a great truck for the $500, have fun with it.
