Jeff if you would want a schematic of the older model trucks' fuel wiring schematic let me know and I can email one to you. Mike Reeh had one and emailed it to me. Really helped alot getting my bugs worked out.

On the plumbing I would thing something like a fuel rated quick disconnect would be great in back. Then just build housing for it where it just has like a slip into place and lock in rail. Kinda like a chain on a house door with an added lock to hold it in place. You could set it in slide it and latch it with no going anywhere then quick connect your lines. The only wiring you would need to do is a wuick connect to the wiring harness on the sender to the cell then on the valve under the truck have it set to the under bed cell (right side) then when you flip the switch the power would then flip on to the fuel tank valve itself to start drawing off the larger in bed cell.
