ls starter

will an old school starter work on the newer ls motors?...as in my hi-torque mini starter on my 305 bolt up to my 6.0?....it has a straight across bolt pattern. it's practically brand new.

Since you already have it you could go ahead and try it, but I seriously doubt it will work.

doubt it. Aftermarket companies sell them under 2 different part numbers, and the flywheels have a different number of teeth iirc
