transfer case linkage

71 gmc 4x4
swapped in a turbo 400 with 208 transfer case does anyone know how to hook up linkage to shifter?
had turbo 350 with 205 transfer case.

why the hell did you do that! You went from the best tcase to one of the worst! Oh well, to answer your question, the factory shifters for the 208 mount to the floor of the hump. like so:

thanks for pictures looks like I need a 208 shifter.

still have the 205 but the 208 had 32 spline and slid right in.
