85 chevy front dual shock mount problems

bought kit from Skyjacker. all the frames are the same from 73-87. if i try to line up the bolts to go into the frame top and bottom there is almmost a 45 degree gap between the bracket and frame. anybody ealse have this problem? im not good with computers or i would post pics. i could heat up bracket and modify. Skyjacker said they never had a problem. any advice? Tuff Country sells a kit also. they said its not mass produced and both companys are different. i could order from Tough Country and find out if it fits different. if its wrong i could send back, minus shipping. any help or pics please......
