Porterbuilt Direct

Through Porterbuilt Direct, we will be expanding our product line, and offering these products to forum members at a discounted price, but with the same quality Porterbuilt customer service! We will also begin running "monthly specials" on select Porterbuilt products. Let us know if there are any specials you would like to see and we will see what we can do!

Thanks,
- Porterbuilt Direct

Originally we made the rear panels in 3 pieces (the middle and then two ends), but have since switched to 5 pieces. It makes the two end capes easier to install that way. The main panel bolts in at the bottom using bosses in the floor where the fuel tank mmounts used to be.

Keep in mind, we don't provide any mounting hardware. It isn't difficult to install, but will require you to make some mounting provisions.

Here's another member who is installing them (post# 145):

Is anyone then cutting them open for sub/amp/etc mounting? If so have any customer pics? I was going to try and make this myself but that looks too nice to try and venture out on my own.

I haven't seen any pics of them that way yet. We have only sold a couple dozen, as we haven't really marketed these very much.

It's an 18ga Cold Rolled mild steel... so you would want to use some dynamat or some type of sound deadener on the back.
