Are you guys doing drop spindles and cups in the front. What is your ride height. I'd like.to.keep.my ride height close to where it is now with my 5 and 6 static drop

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
62 Short Fleetside static dropped 5 1/2 x 6 - floor channeled 3" inside the bed box - stock 62 chassis with 78 front clip
Hope to be converting to a basic Air Ride System soon, since I have sufficient pavement samples for my research work... when taking measurements and looking for hiding places to stuff equipment I found that I have 3" inside the c-notch to the bump-stop, but my rear tire is about 1-2" from inner bed side and will definitely hit when I drop it on bags. 73 K10 12 bolt posi rear is slightly wider than original so I'm guessing I have to trim inner bed panel or change wheel offset. Anyone else encounter such doings??? Too much talent on this board to ignore |

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
Some pics of my 60 GMC long bed (slowly being turned into Chevy) project.
I removed all the X frame stuff from the 60 chassis, Z'd the front frame, made and installed a step notch and shortened frame and bedsides. It will be getting a 377 sbc and a 4 speed tranny. The maroon 65 c10 was bought as a parts truck for this project. The frame of the 65 c10 already had a step notched installed as well as a pancaked front crossmember and an aftermarket trailing arm mount when I bought it. I will be selling most of that stuff and several parts from the GMC.
