bench seats to captains chairs

can someone give me the run down on what will be needed and what to look out for or will it be a direct swap ?

i have a single cab... so do i need to make sure they came out of a single cab truck ??

i have bench seats and ive found some captains chairs with console that are the exact color as my interior. the seller has them advertised as 73-87 c10 and mine is an 86

thanks for the advice !!!

I think the ones your looking at on houston craigslist have armrest and are from a suburban. They stopped offering buckets for trucks around 1982

heres some good information

yes you will need the brackets that are welded to the floor.

Heres mine that I bought off a member here, without these your gonna have to fab something.

Re: bench seats to captains chairs

Here's the ones i made at school i just got the measurements from my old suburban and remade them with thicker metal obviously they don't have the exact 110% replica of the originals but they work exactly the same, but as for the pictures it shows they didn't fit right because i had to bend the right tab up a little and grind a hair off the top right and then put the bend on them and they fit perfect, in all pretty easy to do if you can get the metal lowe's sells metal that would be perfect then you either need a small torch, clamps, welder, grinder and cutting wheel and some time and you'll be set
