Re: Nuetral safety switch ?

Good question. I have an factory auto on the column and no neutral safety at all. I recently rebuild my tranny and didnt notice a switch on it. Im wondering if use to be on the column itself.

My truck will start in gear, so its kinda spooky.

Re: Nuetral safety switch ?

The stock auto switch is mounted on the top side of the column, towards the floor board. If your column accomodates one, you should see the opening and detent lever in that area. I just replaced my broken one. They're a dime a dozen on Ebay.
