Itīs back together, and it feels good
Hi guys.
For the first time since I bought it, the Scottsdale is back together in one piece! I worked on it until 2 am this morning, went home for 4 hours of shut eye then got up and went back to work. Needles to say Im a quite tierd now. I drove it out of the workshop and washed 12 months of dust and grime of it during lunch brake. Not the best pictures, something worng with the camera. Still a lot of detailing to do, but itīs a truck again

Re: Itīs back together, and it feels good
Thanks for the nice responses guys, I do not think I would have gone trough with this build if I hadnīt found this forum. The knowlege here and the way people help each other out is amazing.
I drove around the block after work today, and Im excited. The truck drives good considering that I have not had time to do many adjustments yet, and I still have a feve electrical gremlins to catch. Itīs bit rough on idle, but itīs probably choke related. And the temp gauge is going up and down at random. it can be fine one minute, and the next itīs eighter up or down. Now

That's a sweet looking stepper, good job! I've said it before, only way it'd look better is sitting in my driveway.

Re: Itīs back together, and it feels good
If the temp goes up and down you may not have enough coolant in the block or an air bubble

Re: Itīs back together, and it feels good
Yea, that was my first tought too. But coolant level is fine, and I bled the system again just to be sure. Im leaning towards a loose connection in the gauge or somwere in the harness since it seems to get worse or better depending on revs.

Re: Itīs back together, and it feels good
Someday, hopefully. I have some friends that come over here twice a year from Sater, and have heard about it from them. My buddy here goes about every other year. Hopefully, when my daughter is older, we will be able to go. I would love to see it (and the rest of Sweden, as well).

Re: Itīs back together, and it feels good
I did not even want it I had my mind set on oak boards, but the guy cutting and drilling them for me let me down. I managed to score the plate from work, so I did not pay much for it. And itīs growing on me ( Or am I too lazy to do it all over? )

Re: Itīs back together, and it feels good
That's them. I have known Benny and Jimmy for close to 15 years. They should be coming over here soon. They usually have quite a few characters with them when they come over here, too.

Re: Itīs back together, and it feels good
I figured it had to be them, Sweden is a small place. I do not know Benny and Jimmy personally, well I talked to Jimmy on Power Meet but I donīt think he would remember me, there is always a crowd at their stand.
