Wow 6772King - those are the nicest cargo panels I have seen! I am redoing a 70 CST and I am going to do my cargo panels with powder coated aluminum. (I have some left over from a job so it was free) I am a welder, so it will only be the cost to powdercoat and I get a good deal on that. I will post some pics in the blazer forum when I get them done.

There is a chrome strip that runs along near the top of the bed rail and then there are brackets on the bed sides that hold it down lower. Your truck will only have the brackets if it came with the cargo panels. The chrome strips seem to be quickly becoming a high $ item too.

Thanks Bouncytruck. Do the folks that sell the panels also sell the mounting brackets and strips?

Not that I know of. The brackets are fairly easy to come by, you may even find them in a wrecking yard. A lot of guys have them on their trucks and aren't using them (like the blazer in the photo - which, by the way, isn't mine). I'm guessing that a lot of the strips at the top have been damaged so they are some what hard to find. You might post a "wanted" thread.
