Please help me out on interchange questions

I have just gotten homew a 64 C60 dump truck. This truck has NO rust it has been under a tractor shed its whole life and all the lights work the horn works cab lamps and the radio comes on but the speaker is busted. This truck has 27k miles. Now for the bad I hate to say it but this truck is the wrong year for me . Nothing against the body style it is really starting to grow on me , but I am building three 67-72's at this time and I didn't really like that truck either but I started building one in memory of my brother that has died. He loved that body of truck and in his honor I have been pulled into that gen of truck. Now back to the 64 c60, It was in a little fender bender right before it was sent out to pasture, and it needs a hood grille grille surround and a left fender. Also iyt needs a right hand vent glass. Here is my problem I think everytrhing will change off of the regular truck with the exception of the left fender. Is that correct? will all or any of that stuff change? Thanks for your help. I would like to find this stuff out so that the parts seach can begin I just want to look for the right stuff.

Re: Please help me out on interchange questions

As long as it's not a LCF model, the hood is the same as a pickup, Suburban or Panel. The fender, grill, and grill panels are specific to the C40 and bigger trucks. There are also 2 different widths of the 'flare' on the fender. There was a member selling some parts for the bigger trucks in the '60-'66 classifieds section here on the forum. I have also seen them on ebay from time to time.

What about the vent glass will it work from a c10-30? Is the grill and surround made to look different or is it a diffrent size? Thanks for the help.

Re: Please help me out on interchange questions

the doors and all related door parts are the same on all models chev/gmc.
the grille surround is completely different, it is about a foot taller, and is flat, compared to a c10-30, which is angled.

I'm sorry please don't take my questions as undermining the knowledge you have for the 60-66 truck because I in no way intended on doing that
