Tough Day

I am pretty discouraged today, can't seem to get anything done. Painted a suspension piece and it promptly fell on the ground and rolled through some sand. Worked on the A/C delete panel that I had previously installed incorrectly, it's not working out like I want. So I went to working on assembling my control arms and I cant get the rubber bushings to push into their housings. I am BEYOND frustrated! I am thinking I should have bought one already DONE!

Re: Tough Day

true. once you go back and do these things later, you'll wonder why it was so hard, even though you knew how to do it in the first place. It' weird how so many things on a build go that way - only frustrating if you let it be! (and I know from experience!! I get frustrated all the time ) Of course my problem is that I usually don't have a clue what I'm doin. Hang in there! If you bought a finished one, you'd feel like you shortchanged yourself - because you "like" to build!

Re: Tough Day

That is why I am sitting here at the computer and not welding a big hammer against certain truck pieces!

Re: Tough Day

I would never say that I have it worse than you but as a mechanic I encounter disheartening issues on a daily basis. If its not working for you go do something else. Walk away and get it out of your mind.

Re: Tough Day

Sometimes is better to just lock your toolbox and go away from the truck for a few days then come back you will be amazed how easy things will go then
