Traveling from VA to AL through TN....buying and selling hopefully...
Update below
****Update: Headed out again this Sunday or Monday the 25th or 26th. Can bring larger parts, tach dashes, patch panels, rust free 69-72 fenders and rust free 72 door (all blasted to bare metal) glass, etc. Still looking for parts listed below.**** http://www.mapquest.com/#a1f81fa65eef108f9e94dc3c 23112 starting zip and dawson, al for ending destination Headed out the door in a few on the way to Birmingham, AL to see my wife's grandfather who is near death in the hospital. Hoping to deflect some of the travel costs and lost income by selling some parts and also will consider purchasing some I need for my projects while I'm down this way or along the way...will be in a minivan but it has a roof rack that does hold a good bit. Looking for good tailgates, rad supports (any year esp 67-68), auto tilt or non-tilt columns, good chrome vent windows, 67 or 68 fenders, and good inner fenders... I will bring a couple of tach dashes, and if you can catch me in the next hour I'll pack whatever else...

Re: Traveling from VA to AL through TN....buying and selling hopefully...
Heading out now. Not bringing anything since tach dashes aren't expensive to ship....still looking for the parts listed...will be stopping tonight around the VA/TN border then traveling to Birmingham tomorrow. Not sure what day I'll be coming back, but my wife will be in the hospital until he passes and me stuck in the hotel with my 3 girls.....so....I'll be looking to get out and look at some parts

Re: Traveling from VA to AL through TN....buying and selling hopefully...
I live right off Exit 20 on I75 S (between 20 and 25 really) But my trucks are at dad's house.
He lives about 45 min from my house .. so it may not be something you want to do (?) But if you have some time you're welcome to drop by. I'll try to plan to be there too. family first, .. take care of the wife. I'll talk to you if we can.

Sorry to hear, Jonathan. I hope the weather is at least putting some sunshine in the trip. Give me a yell when you get back in town and we'll catch up on our dealings. No hurry.

Anyone in sw va, tennessee from Kingsport through Knoxville and Chattanooga and into NE Alabama who is looking for parts I'll be headed down that way.
