another new guy

Hi everyone, first post here. I just got a 1956 3600 in January, I really like this one. I first saw it on a used car lot in May and kept watching it as it moved farther back on the lot until it was behind the buildings and out of sight. It's got a 350/350 with Flowmasters and lots of chrome under the hood, and it had a pair of captain's chairs inside, but the original bench was in the bed so that went back in. The only thing I don't like are the white "wagon wheels"...I got a decent bonus at the end of the year so I used some that to pay for the truck and some parts.
it's been driveable since day 1 so it's just been making it MY truck instead of the PO's ideas. Lots of fun, so far not a lot of $$

Re: another new guy

Well I want to change the 4.57 gears for some freeway gears, but then I would need to upgrade the front suspension/brakes and wheels. I need to sell my 61 gmc suburban first and no takers there yet. No matter what I want steel wheels and whitewalls(tonight anyway) and without a garage I won't go nuts about paint for now.
here's the gmc...same wagon wheels.
