12bolt?
I have a 1984 gmc half ton. It currently has a 10 bolt rear end. I would live to find a 12 bolt and have it rebuilt. Is there anyone out there that could give me some info on where to start looking. I found a 1977 half ton 12 bolt to buy. Its a six lug though. Is there such thing as a 12 bolt 5 lug rear end?

I'm not sure on the last year of production, seems like it was 1981. 5-lug axles are 2wd, 6-lug are 4x4. So you need to find a 73-81 1/2 ton 2wd truck, check the cover to verify.
