whitefacegauges.net's horrible Camaro tach decal
I ordered the Camaro Tach decal, with stock colors, in the hopes that I could fix my gauge face. This is what i recieved....
The picture says it all, but in case you can't see all the inaccuracies, the letter R in "RPM" is not only lower that the PM, but the letter P is not near the thickness the R or M is. All the font is thicker and more rounded than the stock face, and there is the absence of the yellow line. No cutouts for the rivets either. All in all, hopefully my purchase can make you all aware if this were what you were thinking of doing. I assume the responsibility of my purchase, but I can't believe they would even offer this as a "stock" option, when it is seemingly more custom than the White gauge faces they are named after. |

I was scrolling down and thought the top picture was the one you bought, I thought to myself that it didn't look too bad. Then I scrolled down and saw the one you actually bought and started

Re: whitefacegauges.net's horrible Camaro tach decal
Its not returnable as it states in their "fine print" that they won't accept returns on anything except their white gauges. And that's fine because I knew that before I purchased but I didn't know I was buying a graphics class junior high project. Lesson learned!

Re: whitefacegauges.net's horrible Camaro tach decal
I don't care what their return policy is, I would still be complaining to them about it and asking for my money back. If I used a credit card to purchase it I would also complain to my CC company.

If they won't stand up and do the right thing then have your credit card company do a charge back.

And enough chargebacks will damage them with the credit card company's. They'll drop them I think.

Re: whitefacegauges.net's horrible Camaro tach decal
I would take that and get me one of those battery operated clocks that they sell at the hobby store, Take the hour hand off install so just the minute hand shows. Hang it on the wall of the shop, so when people ask about it I would tell them were I got that piece of junk.

Re: whitefacegauges.net's horrible Camaro tach decal
I'm glad it wasn't just me that thought this thing looked horrible. It cost around 14 with shipping. I already emailed them with the list of complaints and all. Ball is in their court now. Does anyone know what I can do about my original face though?

Good luck trying to get anything, their domain "may be" up for purchase.

Give these guys a call. I've had several guage clusters restored by them. They do nice work. I've only had one set refaced that I can remember for sure. It was a set of 51 Willys guages that I had converted to 12v and they refaced them with a white face. I have pictures on the shop computer. I'm heading over there in a few I'll post them up.

That sucks. It does look pretty crappy. I loved their white face kit.
Also did the a/c face.
