Question drive by wire tcm

Im still kinda new to the ls stuff.
And I've found a 5.3 with ecm and.
Throttle control module.
Is this the drive by wire and will it require a pedal?

Re: drive by wire tcm

you can change to a cable pedal setup if you want, but the dbw isn't hard to mount or work with, assuming you have a matching set. Just make sure the tcm and ecm match, as well as the TB. If those are all kosher, you just need to find the matching pedal. Depends largely on year.
