Restored my instrument cluster (pics)

Finished up my instrument cluster. I'd like to paint the speedo needle, but the tach needle looks really tough to mask properly (unless I could find a paint that matched so well I could get away with just painting one needle).

The speedo and the systems gauges are original; the printing on my fuel gauge was worn off badly so it's a replacement as well. The bezel is a reproduction that I painted to match the original... 95% masking, 5% painting.

looks very nice dave. Are you saying THE original cluster was blue or that someone before you had painted it blue and you liked it so repeated it? Never saw a blue one - I think it looks pretty darn cool?

It's a GMC, and they're painted interior color from the factory (at least in 1970 on the Sierra Grandes, not sure what year/trim triggers it).

Same color as the factory bezel (which I've kept), though I think the factory bezel is a little shinier. Close enough though!
