Talking New Owner of a 86' swb Chevy!

im picking up this 86 chevy on monday from a friend hurting for money. I'll be the 4th owner, but 1st owner had this truck less than 2 years ago and was always garage kept. the 2nd bought to fix up to show but went through a divorce soon after the truck was painted. the 3rd owner had it for 5-6 months and lost his job. he drove it a total of 200 miles. Its a grey on grey truck with 110,000 miles, manual windows and a bench seat. Pretty new paint, new bumpers and new grill with a 2/4 drop(i think). It has a tbi 350 with a 700r4 and is a factory air truck!
My plans are pretty simple. Since im in a wheelchair and its near impossible to get into tall trucks because of height issues, i'll being going with either a 5/6 or 5.5/7 drop for ease. i would also like to swap out the 1/2 ton leaf springs for 3/4 ton or put helper bags. By the way, this truck wont be my daily driver. it mostly be used as a tow pig for my track car and to enjoy!

Very nice looking truck man! I would look into the helper bags if I were you. That way you will still have a decent ride unloaded.

Wow, it looks great! Helper bags would be a good idea for towing. I would lose the wheels though. Some rallyes would look great with a 5/7 drop. But I am biased.

Good looking truck! Are you sure it does not have a curse on it though? Going by what you said about the previous owners, I'd perform some sort of ritual on it or something just to be safe.
