i am doing the same sort of thing in my 85 but i decided to use some sinker cypress. and seal it up and varnesh the crap out of it with 8 to 10 heavy coats of clear urathaine plum sexy

love the way you set up and did yours. made me go ahead and decide to finish mine this way. anazing work
