factory motor?

i have a '68 gmc p/u 4x4 w/4spd. lookin at my books it came with a 307, with optional 327. my label in glove box has a code #3LS9DD- 350 cid any info would help since i want to put the correct motor in it

307 was standard in v8 trucks, 327 or 396 was an option, the 350 was not option till 1969.

So for you to go original you can use 307 or 327 for v8 with 4x4
