'68 GMC K20 327cid 350hp??

I have a 68 GMC K20 with the 327 4barrel and 4spd trans. What was the HP on these motors????

If it is the original motor probably around 180 - the higher performance motors were in the cars.

Thanks dan42, All the research i have been doing is showing that it maybe a 350hp 327. Anyone else have anything????

Well im not really that worried about what it is. It just runs great and has a ton of power.

Post up the block casting number, date code, and front pad numbers and we can tell you what the engine was born as.

None of the trucks came with any HP numbers like that.

You'll need to throw some parts at it to get those kind of numbers.

It might run good and have some power. The PO could have put an aftermarket cam and stuff in it. But I doubt it would be pullin' those numbers with just a cam swap as well.

Ill get the numbers some time and post them. Im sure its not anything great. Im just glad it runs good with low miles..
