Removed the bed today
 Pulled the bed today, getting ready to pull the power and drive train next. Just surface rust and scale on the chassis, should clean up pretty easily. Had to use the angle grinder with a cutting disc to get the bolts off, not too much fun. Won another battle but the war rages on. |

I had to do the same thing to get mine off with the grinder. I wasnt using the bed again so i wasnt too concerned but it was still a hassle.. your chassis is clean compared to mine. salt does wonders for them..

What's your plan for cleaning it up? It looks pretty good. I've been using a wire wheel on a grinder with okay results.

Wire wheel also, then a follow-up with a phosphoric acid etch and rattle can black. Jury's out on a 4/6 drop, not sure if I want that although it would look cool on a stepside.
