6 lug to 5 lug swap
I have a 70 12 bolt coil spring posi rearend it has the 6 lug axles can i just change the axles & brake drums from a 5 lug rearend will they interchange ??

You can get the front 5 lug change over from CPP or McGuaughs. They also have the rear axle kits. You will need to measure the axle length. there were 2 widths. Earlier trucks seem to have the narrow axles which are hard to find used 5 lug axles for.

Mid 70 they started using the wider width rears
